Before you can accept routes or get paid, you need to sign a few documents: your independent contractor agreement, payout authorization, and safety acknowledgment. It takes about five minutes, and you do it all right inside the crew portal — no printer, no PDF app needed.
- 1
Open the Onboarding section
Log in to the crew portal at ops.ahcrapcleanup.com. On the Home screen you will see an onboarding progress card showing which steps are still open. Tap that card, or tap the Onboarding link in the bottom navigation.
💡 The progress card shows a checklist — document signing is usually one of the first items.
- 2
Tap the document you need to sign
You will see a list of documents: Independent Contractor Agreement, Payout Authorization, and Safety Acknowledgment. Each one shows a status badge — 'Needs signature' or 'Signed.' Tap the first unsigned document to open it.
- 3
Read the full document
Scroll through the document from top to bottom. Take your time — these are real legal documents and you should understand what you are agreeing to. If something is unclear, tap the 'Text Bryan' button at the bottom of the screen before signing.
💡 You cannot reach the signature step until you have scrolled to the end, so the portal makes sure you at least see every page.
- 4
Type your full legal name to sign
At the bottom of the document you will see a signature field. Type your full legal name exactly as it appears on your ID. This typed signature is your legally binding e-signature under the federal ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
💡 Double-check the spelling before you submit — your name needs to match what you put in your Profile.
- 5
Tap 'Sign and Submit'
Hit the 'Sign and Submit' button. The portal records your name, the date and time, and a tamper-evident hash of the document. You will see a green confirmation banner telling you the document was signed successfully.
- 6
Repeat for each remaining document
Head back to the document list and work through each unsigned item the same way. All three documents need to be signed before your onboarding progress moves to 100% and Bryan can assign you routes.
💡 Each document only takes a minute once you have read it — you can knock all three out in one sitting.
- 7
View your signed certificates
After signing, each document's status badge changes to 'Signed.' Tap any signed document to open it and scroll to the bottom — you will find a signed certificate showing your name, the timestamp, and a confirmation that the document has not been altered since you signed it.
💡 Save or screenshot the certificate page if you want a personal copy for your records.
Common questions
Are these e-signatures actually legal?
Yes. E-signatures made by typing your name and confirming your intent are fully valid under the federal ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). They carry the same legal weight as a handwritten signature on paper.
What is the tamper-evident certificate and why does it matter?
When you sign, the portal creates a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of the document at that exact moment. If anyone — including Bryan — tried to change the document later, the hash would no longer match. The certificate is proof that what you signed is exactly what exists on file.
Can I re-read a document after I have already signed it?
Absolutely. Tap any signed document in your Onboarding section at any time to read the full text and view your signed certificate. Nothing disappears after you sign.
What if I have a question about something in the contractor agreement before I sign?
Do not sign until you are comfortable. Tap 'Text Bryan' or 'Call Bryan' from the Home screen and ask your question first. Bryan wants you to understand what you are agreeing to.
What happens if I close the portal halfway through reading a document?
No problem — the document just stays in 'Needs signature' status. Open it again whenever you are ready and you will pick up right where you left off. Nothing is lost and no partial signature is recorded.
