Community Crew Β· Chandler & East Valley

Real work. Real pay. Real experience.

I'm Bryan, and I run Ah Crap Cleanup Co. right here in Chandler. The Community Crew is my way of giving students and young adults a shot at honest, safety-first local work β€” the kind that puts money in your pocket and gives you a real reference from a local business owner. If you're 18 or older, you can apply today. If you're still in high school, there's a school-partnered path in the works below.

Get paid fairly

Honest pay for honest work. Independent crew are paid per completed visit; the school-partnered track (in development) will pay hourly at or above Arizona minimum wage.

🧠

Build real skills

Showing up on time, doing careful work, treating property with respect, and finishing what you start β€” the habits every future employer looks for.

πŸ“„

Earn a real reference

Do good work and you leave with a genuine work reference and a record of what you did β€” useful for jobs, college, and scholarships.

🏑

Stay close to home

Routes are right here in Chandler and the East Valley. No long commute, no big commitment β€” work that fits around school and life.

Same crew, same standards β€” the right path just depends on your age and situation.

Independent Crew

For anyone 18 or older ready to earn on their own schedule.

  • β€Ί Work as an independent contractor (1099) β€” you accept the routes that fit your week.
  • β€Ί Paid per completed visit, deposited weekly to your bank through Stripe.
  • β€Ί Free branded starter kit and app-run routes with photo proof.
  • β€Ί No experience needed β€” reliable beats experienced.

School-Partnered Work Program

For high-school students through a partnership with their school β€” not open yet.

  • β€Ί Built with schools as work-based learning β€” supervised, safety-first, and paid.
  • β€Ί Students in this track would be paid hourly (W-2 employees) at or above Arizona minimum wage β€” currently $15.15/hr in 2026.
  • β€Ί Guardian permission required, and student roles follow Arizona youth-employment rules (no driving, limited hours, adult supervision).
  • β€Ί We only launch this at a school once that school has formally approved the program.
Straight talk: the Independent Crew (18+) path is live and hiring right now. The School-Partnered track is something I'm actively building β€” it is not yet available, and it is not endorsed or approved by any school unless and until that school signs off. Registering interest below just puts you (or your student) on the list so I can reach out as it comes together. No commitment, and no sensitive information is collected here.
Safety first, always

How we keep the crew safe

Outdoor work in Arizona is real work. Here's what that looks like on our crew β€” and it's non-negotiable.

🌑️

Heat protocol

Early start times in summer, water breaks, shade, and hard limits when it's dangerously hot. We move jobs before we push people.

🧀

Training & gear

Everyone learns the safe way to handle each job first, and gets gloves, bags, and the right tools before their first route.

πŸ‘₯

Never alone (student track)

Students in the school-partnered track would always work under adult supervision β€” no solo assignments for minors.

πŸš—

No driving for minors

Students under 18 are never asked to drive for work. Transportation to and from sites is arranged with families and the school.

What I'm looking for

Character over a rΓ©sumΓ©

You don't need experience. You need to show up, work honestly, and treat people's homes with respect. I can teach the rest.

Dependable

You do what you say you'll do, when you said you'd do it.

Respectful

Careful around gates, pets, neighbors, and people's privacy.

Willing

OK working outdoors and learning to do a job the right way.

Get on the Community Crew list

One minute, no commitment. If you're 18+, you can also apply directly on Careers. This form is the best fit for students and anyone waiting on the school-partnered track β€” I read every one and follow up personally.

Because you're under 18, I'll need a parent or guardian's OK before anything moves forward. Drop their info here so I can loop them in β€” nothing happens without them.

Prefer to talk? Text or call Bryan at (480) 256-9684.

You're on the list, friend!

I got it. I'll reach out at your number personally as spots and the school program come together. No commitment on your end.

The fine print, honestly: The Ah Crap Community Crew is a program of Ah Crap Cleanup Co. (owner: Bryan Leonard, Chandler, AZ). The Independent Crew track is for people 18 and older and is a 1099 independent-contractor role. The School-Partnered Work Program is in development, is not currently available, and is not endorsed, sponsored, or approved by any school, district, or agency unless and until that school has formally approved it. Any future student (W-2) participation will follow Arizona and federal youth-employment law, require parent/guardian consent, and pay at or above the applicable minimum wage. Submitting this form is a request to be contacted only β€” it is not an application for employment, an offer, or a contract. We do not collect Social Security numbers, banking details, or other sensitive information through this form.
